Ada is a Non-Player Character.

History

Ada was a prodigious youth who was highly advanced in learning maths and sciences, having started high school at the age of 12 and starting university at 15. She had completed the second year of her degree when disaster struck. A group of thieves tried to rob her apartment one night, which she heard. She tried to fend off the robbers while the police came, despite her small frame. The ensuing fight left her crippled and bleeding, with multiple broken bones including her spine. The doctors gave her very little chance of survival.

Her mother, Nicole, heard about this. She had been working on a number of projects aboard AB04, including Project Zainan. Zainan was an attempt to use computers to streamline a COs abilities. It was a way to make Ada possibly survive and do something with her life, so Nicole used her daughter in it.

During her time working as the one in control of AB04, Ada developed a longing for a relatively normal life. When she learned of her mother's plans to further the Zainan research, she launched a counterplan to thwart it. She acted as a regular AI up until the point that Hanako was taken prisoner. From then, she started supplying Ken and Aya to help them gather information on the submarine and get deeper into the vessel. Ken and Aya confronted Nicole, which resulted in Ada being released from the cell where she was being kept. She currently resides in a cell in the Yellow Comet HQ.

Personality

Ada is haunted by the memories of the burglary, which led her into becoming part of Project Zainan. She longs to return to a relatively normal life.

Relationships

Ada is appreciative of the fact that Nicole wanted to protect her, but her yearning for a regular life conflicted with this and her function as overseer of AB04. She feels indebted to Ken and Aya for their role in liberating her.
