History
Childhood
Born in Central Avalon, Adrian was born to a teacher (Father) and a Nurse (Mother) and as such had a typical middle class life. His parents constantly encouraged young Adrian to seek learning outside of the class room. The result was young Adrian spending more time with his nose in a book than outside with the other children. This gave him a bit of a reputation at school as a bit of a weakling and a nerd and made him a target for bullies. This however only aided Adrian more however. Using what he learned through books, he was able to talk his would be aggressors down and they left him alone. His education ended without any further trouble and Adrian was let loose upon the world
Post Education
Following the completion of his standard education, Adrian felt he had learned all he needed to. What with his constant self education, he felt further education was not needed. Wanting to make a difference in his life, he decided to enlist in the Green Earth Army at the age of 19. Due to his lack of overwhelming physical strength, he was given a boarder guard posting in norther Avalon. This was where he stayed for three years where he was moved to a combat position in command of a recon unit. Knowing he had mens live in his hands, Adrian drew on his knowledge of military history to develop a way to keep his boys alive. He took advantage of every possible defensive opportunity he could and held on to it like no tomorrow.
Rise to Command
During the recent war with Macro Land, Adrian and his unit were on a patrol away from the main conflict when his unit was suddenly ambushed by a decent sized patrol of infantry. Adrian and his men which consisted of his recon unit and a squad of Infantry, fought valiantly against the superior force. His recon unit even lost their vehicles in the line of fine. Determined to not let his men die, Adrian took full command and rallied his troops towards a defensive position. His men eventually drove off the enemy patrol. His men immediately returned to base and informed command of what had occurred. Adrians efforts were particularly noted in the description of the skirmish and this earned him recommendation for a CO commission.
Amidst The Chaos
Adrians career as a CO began promising enough, acting as a diplomat to the nation of Yellow Comet. There he got to know the Emperor Ken and his SiC Hanako Mori. During his stay, the Emperor and Adrian became fast friends and the two even engaged in a mock battle as a test to Adrians ability. His return to Green Earth some time later saw him given his official royal titles under Thor's new monarchy, but he would have little rest before Black Hole came on the scene. After meeting with Black Hole and getting a diplomatic envoy, Adrian felt that he needed to inform Yellow Comet (Who had walked out on the meeting with Black Hole) of what was going on. He returned to Yellow Comet and passed on some valuable information to Ken that might aid him in learning about their worlds new arrival. During his stay, Yellow Comet was attacked by Black Hole forces, and Adrian assisted Ken's men. Leading a small task force provided by Raoul, Adrian managed to beat back the enemy forces of the coast of Nagi Whenshi. Adrian returned to Green Earth shortly after that, and was met with quite a shock upon his return home
Full Command
Upon his return home to Green Earth, Adrian was met with some startling news. Thor announced he would be stepping down as military leader in Green Earth and would be handing off full command to Adrian. This essentially made him the power in Green Earth, with Thor acting on more civil duties. He was granted little reprieve as shortly after his appointment, news came that Blue Moon would be closing it's boarders with Green Earth due to a flood of political refugees. A key opposition political figure was also assassinated on public television amidst many other crises. With things breaking in his countries own boarders, Adrian also had to fear the ever present eye of Black Hole and despite friendly elements within (Including Green Earths envoy, Lady Ironside)had to keep a strong front. Adrian, despite his age, needed to keep up a strong face to his allies and his enemies.
Personality
Tends to be more of a mediator between all his friends. He despises when obvious friends and allies argue, feeling little is accomplished when friends are divided over petty reasons. Beyond this tendency, he is a generally calmer man, taken to more intellectual pursuits such as reading. He often carries a small leather bound book that he often reads out of.
Relationships
Adrian holds a deep amount of respect for his Lord Thor and is always looking to make a good impression with him. Adrian feels he needs to make up for Avalon taking the wrong side in the last war. Other than that, he feels Thor is a strong individual who will make a great King and stand as a strong symbol of Green Earth. The other CO's of Green Earth are another story.
Taylor, another Avalonian, he sees as an upstanding woman and someone who will do Green Earth good in the future. He dosen't know much else about her, but feels she is a more than capable commander.
Raoul on the other hand just rubs Adrian the wrong way. While he may be the 2nd in command of Green Earth and heir to the monarchy, Adrian just finds him intolerable. This came as a result of the two butting heads on a few issues and the two having very different personalities. More recently however, Adrian has come to trust the senior officer and looks to him as a bit of a guide and a helpful source of information during these troubling times.
Adrian has gotten little time to talk to Kiku and only saw her at the CO meeting before his first mission to Yellow Comet. What he does know is that she is a rather interesting and unusual character. After the first meeting with Black Hole, she grew a bit unreasonable in his eyes and a poor exchange of words saw her leave the country.
Adrian's new CO's Vic and Lukas are very unique cases, at least in his eyes. Both seem eager to do their jobs and to prove themselves but each of them seems to have very conflicting personalities. Vic he sees as too direct while Lukas far too flighty. While he's sure they'll do fine, he'll just have to work around their distinct and unique personalities.
The newest member of Green Earth, Aurica is a surprise appearance in Adrian's eyes. Amelia was an old friend of Adrian's from when he was growing up and one of the few people that would accept him for who he was. The two were friends up until high school and following graduation, the pair went separate ways. Her arrive as a CO has given the pair the chance to catch up and make up for lost time.
Adrian also got to know the Emperor of Yellow Comet, Ken, and his SiC Hanako. He finds Ken to be an upstanding leader and an amazing commander. The two get along rather well and seem to think on the same wavelength. Hanako is someone who Adrian greatly admires as an intellectual. He feels she is an asset to Yellow Comet and that she will do great things for the nation and the field of science.
On the Blue Moon front, Adrian has had a harder time making friends. He met once with the CO Anton and despite his troubling speech pattern and his overly nervous disposition, he saw Anton as a fine man. His superior, Procella was an entirely different story. The two have only exchanged phone calls, yet Adrian somehow managed to leave a negative impression with the rather cold Tsarina. Adrian saw her as cold and uncaring, someone unwilling to help their friends in their time of need and would abandon them on any given chance. These exchanges has created a rift between Green Earth and Blue Moon that could lead to something more.
