History
Since her family was traditionally a military family, Kari grew up listening to stories about war. She always wanted to follow in her dad's footsteps and join the military as a result, so she worked hard in school and eventually joined the air force. Many years she spent being a pilot, and she came to feel truly alive almost exclusively when flying planes. Naturally, it was then that her CO powers surfaced -- during a recent battle with Blue Moon, her Thunderbolt was thought to have taken a lot of damage, but when it was looked at by a technician before the next battle, it turns out it hadn't taken much at all. After that, she was fast-tracked through CO training, and made it into a CO.
Personality
As a mostly laid-back girl, Kari tends to take very little personally, which has a side effect of not taking all too much seriously, either. She also has a fondness for teasing. While being a bit of a tomboy, she doesn't take a boyish philosophy very far, and prefers to just act like herself and not worry about things she 'should' or 'shouldn't' be.
