History
Early years
Mengele is from Schwanstein, Waldesland. He graduated from the University of Schwanstein with doctorates in medicine and human biology. He was recruited into the CDF as a science officer.
Mengele was highly respected amongst his peers for his work, but then started to become curiouser and curiouser. This manifested in him using POWs for experimentation, earning him the title of "Lucifer's Child". Human experimentation was something that fellow officer Dieter Kalt strongly disagreed with, partly prompting him to leave the military.
Despite this, he developed a CO Power and eventually reached the rank of Field Marshal.
Project Sterminio
During a counterterrorism co-operative exercise with Orange Star, Mengele heard about a strange occurence on the battlefield. A young Italicolonian anti-personnel soldier called Juliet Viola Abandonato had emitted a strange gas from her body. Naturally, Mengele was curious and immediately promoted Viola to the rank of Brigadier, before starting another experiment.
Mengele lined up 50 "volunteers" comprised of bribed soldiers to participate in the experiment. Viola was put under heavy sedation and then tortured until her CO Power activated. Ten of the soldiers were killed instantly, with a further 35 developing health complications including stomach cramps, diarrhoea, vomiting and in a few cases, insanity. A cover story about a virus was issued in order to divert public attention. Viola would have no recollecion of these events and the whole scenario would be forgotten for many years, until one Madison Kelton discovered it.
Demise
Mengele was relieved of his post of Field Marshal three weeks after Sterminio. Information about his acts was leaked and found its way to the Coalition President. Mengele was dishonourably discharged and was due to appear at a trial for war crimes but fled the continent to a country called Violet Nova off the coast of Omega Land. He remains to this day as Green Earth's most wanted criminal.
Relationships
Mengele was feared universally as "Lucifer's Child". As such he tended to work alone and rarely got to develop relationships with anyone.
