Military Zeppelin Construction is a prerequisite technology researched by Orange Star. While it has no immediate effects, it is used as a pre-requisite technology to others.

Effect: Advances made during prototype construction of the Hurricane are codified and improved upon, allowing the design and construction of more advanced Airships.

Airships

  • Airships are a unique class of Air Unit, distinct from Copters and Planes. COs with a blanket boost to "Air Units" get boosts with Airships, but specific boosts to Copters or Planes do not include them.
  • Airships are not as maneuverable as Copters or as fast as Planes, but are typically hardier and can carry better weaponary.
  • Their engines are powerful turbines that do not burn fuel when idle in the air, unlike Copters/Planes.
  • Due to their sheer size and the amount of materials required for day-to-day running, Airships cannot dock with, and thus cannot refuel/rearm from, Carriers or other transports of any kind unless specifically noted in their profile.
