A Wars World Is Born
Earth-that-was could no longer sustain life, so the nations of the world finally made peace, and the Arks were built. Seven huge ships, designed to remove the entire population of the planet into space to find a new home amongst the stars.
Each Ark left the solar system on a different course, each containing the technology and racial diversity to ensure survival.
But one day, something went horribly wrong.
One such Ark, the fifth constructed, ran afoul of an ion storm a few hundred light years into her journey, and was forced to beach on the nearest planet. With their technology all but destroyed, the people of the Ark returned to their tribal roots. Nationalities grouped together, alliances were formed, and three hundred years later, the world we know took shape.
The people of the Americas, Canada, Australia and New Zealand gathered together to form the United Orange Star States, and sought to spread democracy and free thought, but in their arrogance developed a vicious ego..
The Japanese, Chinese and Koreans banded together quickly to for the Yellow Comet Empire. Their nation developed to be strong and imperialistic, but became rather introverted.
The Russians, eastern Europeans and people of the Middle East formed the soviet Blue Moon Union. Their focus on the land and working for the good of their entire nation left them very patriotic, with many willing to die for their country.
The people of western Europe - prominently the British, French, Germans, Italians, Scandinavians and Yugoslavia - did not band together quite to easily. Initially going their separate ways, their national arrogance eventually broke down enough for the Green Earth Coalition to be born.
Each nation held territory across the world, in continents such as Cosmo Land, Macro Land, Omega Land, Delta Land, and many others.
